Comments about this year’s team: Our team will be young and very energetic. We have bolstered the schedule as we try to prepare us for area play and tournament time. We will try to build on our 17 13 record last season. It was the first winning season in about 5 years. We have added Lauderdale County, Mars Hill, and Red Bay to our already tough schedule. We will also play in a Thanksgiving Tournament at Southside Gadsden, the Keith Davis Christmas Tournament at Lauderdale County, and the TimesDaily Classic. We won the 4A, Area 11 tournament last season, but we were not the host site. We want to win the area out right and host the tournament this season. Hopefully, pushing us to another trip to Hanceville. Our area includes Fayette County, Hamilton, and Winfield.
Key newcomers: Kensey Weathers, 6 0 freshman post
Coach says: This year’s team is going to have an exciting journey. Last year, we had a heartbreaking loss in the postseason. That loss has been our drive and motivation going into this season. This year, we are being led with a lot of heart and determination. We have younger players that bring talent to our team. They will need the time and experience to make the swift transition to this level. As a coach, I am really looking forward to this season. We will have depth, speed, and height that should lead to exciting games. Our 5 seniors have put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this program. We are thankful for each of them. We are proud to represent our community of Loretto.
Key newcomers: A host of juniors and sophomores who are all expected to contribute
Key losses: A very experienced group of seniors that was led by standout Maria Mask
Comments about this year’s team: We look to continue to build off the success that Coach (Erica) Llewellyn has had the last few years. Most people would think this would be a rebuilding year after losing so many key contributors from last year. I do not think that is the case for us. We have the talent and depth in order to compete night in and night out. This is a special group of ladies who hate losing. We cannot wait to get started.
“It is largely used for trying to communicate to the public the point at which if you’re below that, we don’t have public health concern. When you get above that, then that is when we start to say there are some people who may be at risk of harm from a lifetime of drinking levels above 70,” said Kory Groetsch, environmental health director at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. “I like to think of it as a speed limit. If you’re doing 58 in a 55, your chance of anything bad is very small. If you’re doing 95 in a 55, your chance of something going wrong is quite high.”Mediation gives both parties the power to negotiate alimony, child support, custody and an equitable division of assets and liabilities.
