The BJP on Wednesday again targeted former Finance Minister P Chidambaram for his alleged role in facilitating gold imports by private companies including those of Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi under the 80:20 scheme by circumventing the Model Code of Conduct during 2014 general elections.
Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad alleged the Congress all doors for the favorable companies adding, who were prohibited from participating in the 80:20 scheme were also brought in.
